Andy Ricker’s Pok Pok cookbook acts as a travelogue, a bit of memoir, and a field guide to one of the world’s more fascinating culinary regions. This book, in Ricker’s words, “urges…you to make the extra effort it takes to do this food justice.” So we’ll do our best to honor the work, effort, and traditions of Thai cuisine to produce some delicious and new flavors unique to the Thai we may have eaten before.
