Pies are humble. They evoke images of our grandmothers cooling freshly baked pies on the windowsill as they wait for guests to arrive. But, for many of us, a flaky, tender crust eludes us, making what ought to be a simple endeavor into something we’d rather push off of the windowsill rather than letting the pie cool on it. Come to the Farm, where we’ll go through the process of making delicious, tender pie dough and explore a few varieties of pie both savory and sweet. Non-alcoholic beverages are available at this class.
